The second race on Day 11 of the Bangalore Summer Meeting saw Multisided power to a comfortable win in The Paddiwick Plate, a 1200-meter handicap race for older horses rated 0 to 25. The race went to post at 2:00 pm and carried a total prize of ₹4,50,000.

Partnered by A.R. Pradeep and trained by seasoned conditioner Darius R. Byramji, Multisided made the most of his class edge, producing a well-timed run to seize control in the final meters by timing at 1:15.14. The winner is owned by Mr. Darius R. Byramji and Mr. Aditya P. Thackersey, who were rewarded with a satisfying victory in this low-grade sprint.

Flamingo Dream, trained by S. Inayathulla and ridden by Vivek, showed good early speed and stuck on gamely to finish second by finishing at 1:15.18, just holding off the late challenge of Striking Eyes, who secured third under Suhas K. for trainer V. Lokanath by finishing at 1:15.69.

The performance by Multisided underlined his consistency at this level, with the experienced duo of Pradeep and Byramji combining efficiently. As the day unfolds, focus now turns to the third race — The International Day of Yoga Plate (Division I) — which promises to be another compelling contest.
