Power of Beauty produced a commanding front-running display to clinch the M.S Suresh Memorial Trophy (Div I), the fourth race of the third day of the Mysore Monsoon Races 2025, stopping the clock at an impressive 1:23.154 for the 1400-metre trip. Ridden with confidence by Antony Raj S and trained by K. Pradeep Anniah, the four-year-old gelding left the field strung out behind him to secure a wide 9¼-length victory.
Eternal Glory and Ladylion in the frame
The finish for the minor placings was a closer affair. Eternal Glory, handled by ace jockey P. Trevor for trainer V. Lokanath, stayed on resolutely to grab second, just a long neck ahead of Ladylion under R. Robert, saddled by Gnanashekar A. The pair clocked 1:24.718 and 1:24.777 respectively, reflecting the clear superiority of the winner.
Others trail behind
Further back, Serdar (J: L. Alex Rozario / T: Pillay J S) finished fourth, Miraculous Girl (J: M.J. Gautam Raj Urs / T: Ranjeet Shinde) settled for fifth, while Free To Play (J: C. Umesh / T: Kishan Thomas) completed the line-up in sixth.
The race carried a total purse of ₹5,75,000, with the winner earning ₹2,87,500. Power of Beauty, bred by Saamidil (GB) out of Rosella, justified his reputation and confirmed himself as a strong contender for bigger assignments at Mysore this season.
