On Tuesday, Hyderabad Race Club witnessed a great day of horse racing, with the highlight being THE ALAINDAIR PLATE. This maiden race for three-year-olds carried the highest stakes of the day, with a total prize money of ₹12,25,000. The winner, MISTY NIGHT, trained by K. Satheesh and ridden by jockey Jodha R.S., claimed a grand prize of ₹5,51,250 with a remarkable performance. MISTY NIGHT completed the race in 1:13.64, closely followed by TOOTSIE DARLING (trained by L.V.R. Deshmukh and ridden by Mukesh Kumar), which secured the second position with a time of 1:13.92, bagging ₹3,06,250 in prize money.
PRIDE ASIDE, trained by N. Ravinder Singh with jockey Gaurav Singh, took third place, earning ₹2,45,000. This thrilling 1,200-meter race left the audience on edge, showcasing the future stars of the racing world.
Other races of the day were equally exciting. In THE DIEGO RIVEIRA PLATE, NORMUI, trained by Magan Singh and ridden by Mukesh Kumar, claimed first place, while KNOTTY SENORITA, trained by A. Imran Khan, came in second.
In THE BASHA PLATE DIV-2, NKALANZINZI, trained by G. Sandeep, took the top spot, followed by MORNING MIST, trained by Ananta Vatsalya. Similarly, GREAT GIVER won THE GIFT OF GRACE PLATE, with TOTAL CONTROL securing second place.
Other notable winners included PANCHO in THE BASHA PLATE DIV-3, GOLDEN GAZELLE in THE BLACK JACK PLATE, and TORCHBEARER in THE WINTER STAR PLATE. Each race demonstrated incredible talent, making it a memorable day for racing enthusiasts.
Races were also held today at the Delhi Race Club, featuring six back-to-back competitions. These included the 1600-meter THE DESERT WARRIOR PLATE (for Class 3 / Horses Rated 40 to 66), the 1400-meter THE AEMILIA PLATE (for Class 4 / Horses Rated 20 to 46), THE DARING DON PLATE DIV-1 (Class 4 / Horses Rated 20 to 46), THE ROYAL CALCUTTA TURF CLUB CUP (Class 3 / Horses Rated 40 to 66), and THE MOON FOREST PLATE (Class 5 / Horses Rated 1 to 26).
