The Heggadadevanakote Plate delivered a gripping contest at the Mysore Race Club, with Mind Games rising to the occasion to land a maiden victory in the 1400-meter event exclusively for 3-year-old Indian horses. The race carried a lucrative purse of ₹10,50,000 with winner prize of Rs.5,25,000.

Trained by M Pratap Kamath and confidently ridden by Varun, Mind Games ran a measured yet assertive race, settling into rhythm before unleashing a decisive turn of foot in the final furlong. The bay gelding, racing in the silks of Col. Kuldeep Singh Garcha, stopped the clock at 1:26.034, securing a deserved win and signaling promise for future outings.

Finishing a commendable second was Cosette, trained by Saddam Iqbal and partnered by the experienced A. Ashhad Asbar. Cosette chased the winner gamely and kept up the pressure throughout but had to settle for the runner-up spot, just over half a length behind, timing 1:26.683.

Completing the frame was One Nation, the third place holder in the field for trainer M Pratap Kamath. Ridden by S. Antony Raj, the filly put up a strong effort to clinch third place with a timing of 1:26.989, rounding off a productive race for the stable.

With a competitive field and a tightly fought finish among the top three in The Heggadadevanakote Plate, the attention now turns to the upcoming Alberetto Plate Division I, slated for 3:00 pm, promising more action as the Mysore card unfolds.
