Run as a Group 1 contest, the race brought together elite 5-year-old and older Arabian horses competing on dirt for a substantial prize purse of USD 1,000,000.

With a safety limit of 16 runners and the rail set to true, the race promised a fair and competitive test of stamina, speed, and tactical awareness.
