Merlet broke smartly and settled into a smooth rhythm, conserving energy while staying close to the leaders. In the final furlong, she responded to Mukesh Kumar’s steady guidance with a sharp burst of speed, edging past her rivals to claim her first stakes victory in style.
Morano (J: Antony Raj S., T: Aashay Doctor) finished a close second in 1:25.472, while Eleanora (J: Yash Narredu, T: Rajesh Narredu) ran strongly to take third in 1:25.832. The narrow margins between the top three made for an electrifying finish.
