Mandarino Proves a Class Apart in Leading Stud Cup at Bangalore

The Leading Stud Cup, a 1400-meter handicap for horses rated 80 and above, brought top-tier competition to the turf as Day 24 of the Bangalore Summer Meeting marched toward its climax. And it was Mandarino who lit up the track with a commanding performance.

Ridden by Arvind Kumar N. and trained by Irfan Ghatala, Mandarino stormed to the lead in the final furlong and never looked back, posting a winning time of 1:23.85. The victory added a valuable feather in the cap of his owners, Mr. Francis Arun Kumar, Mr. J. Ramesh, and Mr. M. V. Balaji, and confirmed the gelding’s form at the highest handicap level.

Close on the heels was Champions Way, ridden by Suraj Narredu for trainer Satish Narredu, who finished second in 1:24.10, showing consistency at this class. Completing the frame was Global Influence, piloted by Aleemuddin for Rajesh Narredu, who crossed the line in 1:24.26.
