Mandarino Proves a Class Apart in Leading Stud Cup at Bangalore
The Leading Stud Cup, a 1400-meter handicap for horses rated 80 and above, brought top-tier competition to the turf as Day 24 of the Bangalore Summer Meeting marched toward its climax. And it was Mandarino who lit up the track with a commanding performance.
Ridden by Arvind Kumar N. and trained by Irfan Ghatala, Mandarino stormed to the lead in the final furlong and never looked back, posting a winning time of 1:23.85. Close on the heels was Champions Way, ridden by Suraj Narredu for trainer Satish Narredu, who finished second in 1:24.10, showing consistency at this class. Completing the frame was Global Influence, piloted by Aleemuddin for Rajesh Narredu, who crossed the line in 1:24.26.
