By | 19 Sep 2026 | Mumbai

The Longines Global Champions Tour will strengthen its long-standing partnership with Oxer Sport through a new long-term agreement that will begin in January 2027. The expanded collaboration will cover event organisation, operations, promotion, media and commercial activities.

The agreement will build on more than two decades of cooperation between the Longines Global Champions Tour and Oxer Sport. Both organisations will continue to work together on the development of international show jumping while focusing on the delivery of high-quality events for riders, spectators, partners, media and other stakeholders.

The new agreement will provide a broader framework for cooperation across several areas. While event organisation will remain an important part of the relationship, the partnership will also place greater focus on promotion, media activities and commercial development.

Oxer Sport has already played an important role in the Longines Global Champions Tour through its involvement in major events in Madrid and Mexico City. These events have attracted thousands of spectators and VIP guests each year and have become established fixtures on the international show jumping calendar.

Madrid and Mexico City will continue to hold an important position within the circuit. The two capital cities form part of the distinctive international calendar of the Longines Global Champions Tour and its championship events.

The expanded partnership will allow both organisations to work more closely on the continued development of these events. Their cooperation will cover the organisation and operation of competitions as well as the promotion and media activities surrounding them.

Longines Global Champions Tour Builds Stronger Oxer Sport Alliance

Jan Tops, Founder and President of the Longines Global Champions Tour, welcomed the expansion of the partnership with Oxer Sport and highlighted the organisation’s continued commitment to the global circuit.

Tops also pointed to the importance of the major locations that form part of the tour. He said the collaboration with Oxer Sport would be an important part of the developments ahead as the circuit continued to pursue growth, innovation and a wider international presence.

For Oxer Sport, the agreement will mark another step in a relationship that has developed over approximately 20 years. Oxer Sport President Alvaro Arrieta Konyay expressed pride in the organisation’s long association with the Longines Global Champions Tour.

During its partnership with the circuit, Oxer Sport has organised events in Italy, Spain and Mexico. Its work in these markets has contributed to the expansion of the tour and its presence in major international destinations.

The new agreement will take that relationship into a fresh phase from January 2027. Oxer Sport will continue to work alongside the Longines Global Champions Tour while supporting the organisation and promotion of major show jumping events.

The partnership will also build on the experience gained through previous editions in Madrid and Mexico City. Both events have provided major platforms for the circuit, bringing international riders, spectators and guests together in prominent locations.

The wider agreement will allow the two organisations to coordinate more closely across event operations and other areas connected with the presentation of the tour. Media and promotional activities will form a greater part of the cooperation, while commercial work will also be included within the new framework.

The relationship between the Longines Global Champions Tour and Oxer Sport has developed alongside the international growth of the circuit. Over the years, the tour has established a calendar across prominent cities and venues, while Oxer Sport has remained involved in several important events.

The new agreement will therefore provide continuity while also opening a broader phase of cooperation from 2027 onwards. Both organisations will continue to combine their experience in event management and international show jumping as they prepare for future seasons.

The partnership will remain centred on delivering major equestrian events while supporting their promotion and wider reach. With cooperation extending across organisation, operations, media, promotion and commercial activities, the agreement will provide a stronger foundation for the next stage of the relationship.

The Longines Global Champions Tour will begin an expanded long-term partnership with Oxer Sport in January 2027, covering event organisation, operations, promotion, media and commercial activities.
