Lingfield Park Set for Varied Seven-Race National Hunt Afternoon

Lingfield Park will stage a seven-race National Hunt programme on Sunday, 21 December 2025, offering a balanced afternoon of flat racing, hurdles, and steeple chases. The Lingfield Park Race Cards 21 December will feature contests across classes and distances, with prize money ranging from £4,500 to £30,000.

National Hunt Flat Race (12:30 PM)

The meeting will open with a Class 5 National Hunt Flat Race over two miles, carrying prize money of £4,500. Below The Belt, King Berry, Makingplansfor, Silk Mountain, Wilde’s Legacy, and St Aurelia will be expected to take part in a race designed to introduce young prospects to racecourse conditions.

Junior National Hunt Hurdle (1:00 PM)

At 1:00 PM, the card will continue with a Class 4 Junior National Hunt Hurdle over two miles and 10 yards, worth £9,000. Aqua Bleu, Callero, Majeur Allen, Network Gold, Network Rgb, and Pink ’n Purple will be set to contest a race that should suit improving types.

Mares’ Maiden Hurdle (1:30 PM)

The 1:30 PM contest will be a Class 4 Mares’ Maiden Hurdle over two miles, three furlongs, and 130 yards, with prize money of £7,700. My Lovely Horse, Oh Clare, Raindance Queen, Rock Sensation, Sea Presenting, and Sevarana will form the expected field.

Handicap Hurdle (2:00 PM)

Staying ability will be tested in the 2:00 PM Class 4 Handicap Hurdle over two miles, seven furlongs, and 20 yards. The race will offer £9,000 in prize money and is set to feature George Henry, Block Rockin Beats, Diamond Geezer, Rock On Cassie, Fontana Ellissi, and Harmony Heights.

Handicap Steeple Chase (2:30 PM)

A Class 4 Handicap Steeple Chase over two miles and 10 yards will be run at 2:30 PM, with £10,000 on offer. Diplomatic Ash, Alto Alto, Windsurfer, Boston Boy, Jaipaletemps, and Hors Jeu will be among the runners.

Feature Handicap Steeple Chase (3:00 PM)

The principal race of the afternoon will come at 3:00 PM with a Class 3 Handicap Steeple Chase over two miles, six furlongs, and 30 yards, carrying prize money of £30,000. Tahmuras, Doctor Ken, Bucksy des Epeires, Dartmoor Pirate, and No Tackle will headline the field.

Conditional Jockeys’ Novices’ Handicap Hurdle (3:30 PM)

The card will conclude at 3:30 PM with a Class 5 Conditional Jockeys’ Novices’ Handicap Hurdle over two miles, three furlongs, and 130 yards. The closing race will be worth £6,150 and is expected to include Low Expectations, Jhentong Enki, Washington Singer, Known Warrior, Little Ledgend, and Bells of Ufford.
