Contested over 1400m for Class IV horses rated 21–46 (with 1–26 eligible), the 4:00 PM race witnessed CASH N RUN (J: Vishal N Bunde, T: Sabeel Shariff) delivering a commanding performance for owner Mr Koushik Dutta, showcasing both speed and composure to cap off the day’s racing action.
From the start, CASH N RUN settled prominently in the early stages, tracking the pace before making a decisive move in the home stretch. With Vishal N Bunde expertly timing the final burst, the winner pulled clear in the final 200 metres, demonstrating a blend of stamina and acceleration that proved too strong for the rest of the field.
The runner-up spot went to MRS BRANDO (J: Vinod Shinde, T: Rutherford Alford), who fought valiantly throughout but finished just behind the winner. IMMORTAL BEAUTY (J: Suraj Narredu, T: Ritesh E. K) closed well in the final stages to secure third, rounding out an action-packed finish to the day.
Earlier in the day, Race 1, THE AGOSTINE HANDICAP (1100m), saw MEMPHIS (J: M S Deora, T: Javed Khan) triumph for owners Mr Anand Chopra rep M/s Speedex Livestock Pvt Ltd, Mr Sanjay Kumar Singhi, Mr Pankaj Goenka & Mr Gaurav Chokhany, with ELUSIVE RANGER and DIAMOND GOLD taking the minor placings. Race 2, THE ACRIDER HANDICAP (1600m), was captured by DIVINE GIFT (J: Antony Raj S., T: Vijay Singh) for M/s Rapar’s Galloping Stars LLP, while RIGHTEOUS and CARNATION finished second and third. In the 2000m THE KAMILAH HANDICAP, RULING STAR (J: R S Bhati, T: Deepesh Narredu) led home WHIRLWIND and GOLDEN WARRIOR for top honours.
The afternoon continued with THE FORTUNE CUP (1600m), where TOGO (J: Suraj Narredu, T: Neil Darashah) claimed victory for a syndicate of owners including Mr Enrico R Piperno, Mr Prateek Bhalotia, and others, followed by DON`TSTOPTHEMUSIC and MAGNIFICO. THE MALPENSA CUP (2400m) was dominated by BLACK DIAMOND (J: Suraj Narredu, T: Deepesh Narredu) for Dr Ram H Shroff & Mr Raj H Shroff rep M/s Stride Livestock Pvt Ltd, with GARTH and SANAYA rounding out the podium. Race 6, THE VIOLIN HANDICAP DIV I (1400m), saw ONLY DREAMS (J: Mukesh Kumar, T: Aashay Doctor) take a decisive win for Mr Enrico Piperno, M/s Sarainaga Racing Pvt Ltd, and partners, while PAULITE WARRIOR and GLOBAL FASHION finished second and third.
