Racing in the colours of M/s Sarainaga Racing Pvt Ltd, Mr Vishal Doctor & Mr Kamal J Doctor rep M/s Deciding Factor LLP, Mr Raghubir Sharan Upadhyay, Mr Vinod Kumar Kandoi, Mr Hemang Devendra Doctor, Mr Achuthan Siddharth, Mr Vivek Choudhary & Mr Enrico Piperno, Argento stamped authority over the field, confirming why racing enthusiasts were eager to check the Kolkata race result 20 February for this highly competitive sprint.
From the break, Argento settled in a stalking position, biding time as the pace set by early leaders demanded respect. Turning into the home straight, Imran Chisty found a gap along the rails and propelled Argento forward with measured urgency. The colt responded instantly, drawing clear of his rivals and maintaining a strong rhythm to the finish, leaving little doubt over the winner’s superiority.
Runner-up honours went to Tetsu (J: P Tejeshwar, T: Aashay Doctor), who kept Argento within striking distance throughout the home stretch but could not find the final surge. Stormchaser (J: Sah Farid Ansari, T: Vijay Singh) rallied late to secure third, rounding out a competitive top three. Times were closely contested, highlighting the high standard of the field.
