The final race of the day at Mysore (Monsoon) Races 2025 saw the 6th contest, The Coorg Plate, a Class III race for horses rated 40 to 65, over 1100 metres, light up the evening at 5:00 PM. In a display of speed and precision, KLIMT (J: K. Sai Kiran, T: Bobby M), racing in the colours of Mr M Bobby, surged past the competition to win in a sharp 1:05.331, adding another prestigious victory to his record.

From the break, KLIMT positioned himself smartly behind the early leaders, conserving energy while reading the pace of the race. With a perfectly timed turn into the home stretch, K. Sai Kiran unleashed a decisive burst, propelling KLIMT past rivals and crossing the finish line just ahead of the field in authoritative style. The horse’s acceleration and tactical nous underlined both his class and the trainer Bobby M’s strategic acumen.

Runner-up honours went to VAYU (J: Aleemuddin, T: Joseph B Awale), who finished a whisker behind in 1:05.369, pressing KLIMT throughout the final furlong.
