The Japan Cup saw Kiss Of Grey produce the decisive performance when it mattered most. Maintaining a competitive position throughout the 1400-metre contest, the winner showed the necessary pace in the closing stages to gain the advantage and hold on to the lead at the finish. The winning time of 1:28.016 reflected a strong effort, with the chasing runners finishing close behind in a competitive conclusion.

Your Sri Shakthi, ridden by S. Sachin and trained by B Prithviraj, finished second in 1:28.415 after a determined effort. Shamsheer, partnered by Sah Farid Ansari and trained by Rakesh, took third place in 1:28.467.
