King Roger Rules the Toroloco Cup as Imran Chisty and Rutherford Alford Complete Hat-Trick at RCTC

The third race of the day at RCTC, the Toroloco Cup, turned into a showcase for consistency and class. Run over 1400 meters, the race carried total prize money of Rs. 3,00,000, with the winner receiving Rs. 1,65,000 along with a Rs. 20,000 cup.

The tote favourite, King Roger emerged victorious, continuing the remarkable form of jockey Imran Chisty and trainer Rutherford Alford, who had featured in the top finishes of both earlier races. The gelding clocked 1:26.934 at 10/10 odds, capping off a hat-trick of impressive outings for the duo.

The runner-up spot went to A Wink Annda Smile, also trained by Rutherford Alford and ridden by R. Ajinkya, who delivered a strong performance to finish in 1:28.176 at 12/1 odds.

Rounding off the top three was Lahina, guided by A. Prakash and trained by Sabeel Shariff, who came home in 1:28.367 at 7/1 odds.
