Jolie’s Star recorded a smart victory in Race 3, The Belur Plate (Div II), over 1200 metres at Mysore Race Club on Thursday, 08 October 2026. Run at 3:00 PM on the 11th day of the Mysore Race Club Monsoon Races 2026, the contest saw Jolie’s Star stop the clock at 1:11.581 under jockey Vishal for trainer Kishan Thomas, representing the ownership of Mr Srinivasa M.
Jolie’s Star travelled comfortably during the early stages as the field settled into position. Vishal kept the winner within striking distance before gradually asking for a stronger effort approaching the straight. Once balanced for the final run, Jolie’s Star responded well and established enough advantage to secure the race in a neat finish.

The closing stages produced a close contest for the minor placings. Absolute Conquerer, ridden by Prabhu Kumar M and trained by Vishal Yadav, finished second in 1:12.027. Natural Beauty, with Shamaz Shareef in the saddle and Mansoor Khan as trainer, was third in 1:12.044.
Jolie’s Star’s winning margin was built through a well-timed finish rather than an early burst, with Vishal maintaining control when it mattered most. The result gave trainer Kishan Thomas and owner Mr Srinivasa M a notable success on the 11th day of the Mysore meeting.
With The Belur Plate (Div II) now decided, attention will move to The Gool & Soli Poonawalla Memorial Trophy, scheduled as the next race at 3:30 PM.
