Magnetic displayed sheer authority to capture the Dennis & Yvonne Jarvis Memorial Cup, the fifth race of the Mysore Monsoon Races (3rd Day) on September 11. The four-year-old filly, guided to perfection by P. Trevor and trained by Darius Byramji, finished the 1600-metre contest in 1:35.451, securing victory for her connections Ms Ameeta Mehra, M/s Mukul A Sonawala, and Chaduranga Kanthraj Urs.

Kanya Rashi and Confident Game chase in vain

Runner-up honours went to Kanya Rashi (J: Antony Raj S / T: Vinesh V Naik), who stayed on well but was 1¼ lengths short at the post, stopping the clock in 1:36.084. Confident Game (J: Hindu Singh / T: Helleal Moses R) followed close behind in third, only three-quarters of a length away, timing 1:36.285.

Forseti and Worldly Wise round out placings

Further back, Forseti (J: L. Alex Rozario / T: Imtiaz Khan) ran on to finish fourth, while Worldly Wise (J: Abhishek Mhatre / T: J Ganesh) filled fifth, recording 1:37.286.

The feature carried a total purse of ₹7,00,000, with the winner’s share of ₹3,50,000 boosting Magnetic’s profile as one of the standout performers of the season. Bred by Multitude out of Pricewise, the filly underlined her quality and potential for future assignments at Mysore.

After Jarvis Memorial Cup Mysore 2025, action continues with the Regency Gold Plate (Div I) at 4:30 PM, another competitive highlight of the day.
