A proven performer on the racetrack will begin a new chapter in the breeding barn after Arctic Glamour emerged as the highest-priced lot at the Inglis Digital July (Late) Sale, attracting a winning bid of $640,000 from Julia Ritchie and Widden Stud.

The accomplished mare was offered by trainers Gerald Ryan and Sterling Alexiou, who had originally secured her as a yearling at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale. During her racing career, Arctic Glamour established herself among Australia’s quality mares, winning at Group 2 level, finishing placed in a Group 1 contest and earning more than $1 million in prize money before heading to the sales ring.
Her new connections plan to send the mare to leading stallion Zoustar this spring, with her race record and proven ability making her an attractive addition to the broodmare ranks.
The Inglis Digital July (Late) Sale also produced strong results further down the catalogue. Broodmare Monegal, offered in foal to Stay Inside, was the second-highest seller after changing hands for $260,000. Consigned by Clarke Bloodstock on behalf of Ridgmont, she comfortably exceeded expectations during the online auction.
Third-highest honours were shared by Perth race mare Madhi Girl and broodmare You Send Me, who was offered in foal to Starman. Both realised $215,000, reflecting continued demand for proven racemares and quality breeding prospects.
The sale featured a healthy number of six-figure transactions, with 11 lots selling for $100,000 or more. Other notable sales included Trapani ($170,000), Wintery ($145,000), Dolce Vita ($140,000), Enterprise Pomme ($140,000), Sting In The Tail ($120,000), Extremely Wicked ($115,000) and La Bella Boom ($105,000).
Overall, the Inglis Digital July (Late) Sale generated a gross turnover of $4,295,850, underlining the sustained strength of Australia’s online bloodstock marketplace. The latest auction also pushed the total number of six-figure lots sold through Inglis Digital since 2025 to 205, highlighting consistent demand for quality racing and breeding stock.
Attention will now turn to the next trading opportunity, with entries open for the Inglis Digital August (Early) Sale, scheduled to run from August 7 to August 12.
