Racing at the Hyderabad Race Club (HRC) will take place on Tuesday, 31 March, with a seven-race programme scheduled from 3:00 PM through to 6:05 PM. The highlight of the day will be the Prince Of Berar Plate, a maiden event for three-year-olds offering the largest purse of the meeting. The card features a balanced mix of maiden contests and competitive handicaps across distances ranging from 1100 metres to 1600 metres, promising an engaging day for trainers, jockeys, and spectators alike.

Kicking off the afternoon, The Zurbaran Plate is set for 3:00 PM. This Class IV handicap over 1200 metres is restricted to maiden horses aged four years and upward rated between 20 and 45. Runners expected to take part include Fox Worth, Mahwish, Victory Run, Analysis, Moonlite Rose, Zindabad, and See My Attitude. Following closely, The Chaitanya Chakram Plate will run at 3:30 PM over 1400 metres. This Class IV handicap is open to horses aged five years and upward rated 20 to 45. Expected runners include Cosmico, First Lady, Just Incredible, N R I Range, Shubhrak, Dream To Fly, and Sadiya. Midway through the programme, The Bhakranangal Plate is scheduled for 4:05 PM over 1600 metres. Stepping up in class, The Ardent Knight Plate is set for 4:45 PM. This Class III handicap over 1600 metres is open to horses aged four years and upward rated 40 to 65, carrying a total prize of Rs.7,40,000. Declared runners include Corte Madera, Knight Regent, Krystallos, Authoritarian, N R I Triple Power, Great Giver, and Arizona Sun. Experienced campaigners are expected to dominate the pace, with tactical positioning likely proving pivotal in deciding the winner.

The feature race of the day, The Prince Of Berar Plate, will run at 5:05 PM over 1100 metres. This maiden contest for three-year-olds carries the highest purse of Rs.12,25,000. Ten runners are expected: Aarav’s Pet, Divine Tiger, Pedal To The Metal, Aakarshaka, Grit ‘N’ Grace, Khamagani, My Day, Night Whisper, Queen Eternal, and Ruby Tuesday. Rounding off the day, The Sweet Girl Plate will take place at 6:05 PM over 1400 metres. This Class V handicap for horses aged four years and upward rated up to 25 features Alpine Girl, Dali’s Champion, Golden Bourbon, Silver Arrow, Bold Indian, and Star Cruise. The total prize is Rs.5,00,000, and the race is expected to provide a competitive finish to conclude the meeting.
