A full day of competitive racing will be conducted at Hyderabad Race Club (HRC) on Tuesday, 24 March, will present a seven-race programme featuring a balanced mix of maiden, Class V, Class IV, Class III, and Class I contests. The card will run from 3:00 PM to 6:05 PM and will include distances ranging from 1100 metres to 1800 metres. The meeting will bring together runners across different ratings bands, and each race will be contested under varying conditions that will test speed, stamina, and race positioning across the card.
Kicking off the programme, The Business Tycoon Plate will be run at 3:00 PM over 1400 metres as a Class IV handicap for horses aged six years and above rated 20 to 45, with total prize money of Rs.6,50,000. Catchme If You Can will be ridden by Mukesh Kumar, Winning Attitude will be partnered by Afroz Khan, Take A Breath will have Ajay Kumar aboard, while N R I Skypower, Smart Boy, Sadiya, and Exclusive Luck will also in the field.
Following that, The Rising Star Plate will be staged at 3:30 PM over 1200 metres as a maiden contest for three-year-olds, carrying prize money of Rs.12,25,000. Advaita will be guided by Antony Raj S., Ashwa Vivegam will be partnered by P. Sai Kumar, and Diamond King will be ridden by B Nikhil, while Excalibur, My Way My Rules, Ojas Maximus, and The Last Avtar will complete the field.
Continuing the afternoon card, The Brave Hunter Plate will take place at 4:05 PM over 1200 metres as a Class III handicap for horses rated 40 to 65, offering Rs.7,40,000 in prize money. Emerald Touch will have A. Ashhad Asbar in the saddle, Calabasas will be ridden by Ajay Kumar, and Fly Tothe Stars will be partnered by G Naresh, along with Top In Class, Linda, Colt Pistol, Turiya, and Zuza.
Building further momentum, The Medchal Plate will be run at 4:35 PM over 1200 metres as a Class IV handicap for horses rated 20 to 45, with prize money of Rs.6,50,000. Only My Way will be ridden by Afroz Khan, Sunny Day will have P Ajeeth Kumar aboard, and Onslaught will be partnered by A. Ashhad Asbar, while Una Paloma Blanca, Nkalanzinzi, Arthisha, and Caraxes will also take part.
Shifting to a longer trip, The Khammam Plate will be conducted at 5:05 PM over 1800 metres as a Class III handicap, carrying Rs.7,40,000 in prize money. China Town will be partnered by P Ajeeth Kumar, Bholi Punjaban will be ridden by Surya Prakash, and Corte Madera will have Akshay Kumar aboard, while Sangreal, Andre’, Perfect Light, and Pride Aside will also compete.
Headlining the card, The Telangana Plate will be run at 5:35 PM over 1600 metres as a Class I handicap for horses rated 80 and above, offering Rs.12,25,000 in prize money. Truth will be ridden by Imran Chisty, N R I Superpower will be partnered by B R Kumar, and Reigning Beauty will be guided by MD Ismail, while Cherie Chevalier, Last Wish, Silver Act, and Brooklyn Beauty will also line up in a strong field.
Bringing the programme to a close, The Malvado Plate will be held at 6:05 PM over 1100 metres as a Class V handicap for horses rated up to 25, with prize money of Rs.5,00,000. Char Ek Char will be ridden by Surya Prakash, Dali’s Destiny will have Abhay Singh aboard, and Noorian will be partnered by Akshay Kumar, while Pinatubo, Amboseli, Dhanadeepa, and Always Special will complete the line-up.
