The fourth day of the Hyderabad Winter Races 2025–2026 season will take place at the Hyderabad Race Club (HRC) on Tuesday, 17 March, where a competitive seven-race programme will be conducted through the afternoon and evening. The card will include a mixture of Category II and Category III handicap contests along with a maiden event for three-year-olds, with distances ranging between 1100 and 1400 metres.
The afternoon’s proceedings will commence at 3:00 PM with The Narayanpet Plate (Division I), a Class IV handicap over 1100 metres for horses rated between 20 and 45. DIVINE CONNECTION, to be ridden by Abhay Singh, will take on BLISSFUL (Md Ekram Alam) and WINDSOR (Surya Prakash). The line-up will also feature DILIGENCE, LA QUINTA and RED HOT PUNCH. The contest will be run for a total prize fund of ₹6,50,000.
The second race at 3:35 PM will be The Flirting Vision Plate, a Class IV handicap over 1200 metres for horses aged five years and above rated between 20 and 45. CRIMSON ROSE (B. Nikhil) will line up alongside INDERDHANUSH (Rafique Sk.) and KNOTTY SENORITA (P. Sai Kumar). The field will also include STAR MEDAL, ASSURED SUCCESS and SILVER LINING. The race will carry a total prize of ₹4,87,500.
The third event at 4:05 PM will be The Onnu Onnu Onnu Plate (Division I), a Class II handicap over 1400 metres for horses rated between 60 and 85. BROOKLYN BEAUTY (Sonu Kumar) will meet DECOY (Mukesh Kumar) and MAVERICK, ridden by Kuldeep Singh (Sr). KINGSTON, N R I SPORT and RUNLIKETHEWIND will also contest the race for a prize fund of ₹8,40,000.
The fourth race at 4:35 PM will be The Mossy Bank Plate, a Class III handicap over 1400 metres for horses aged five years and above rated between 40 and 65. BHOLI PUNJABAN (Mohit Singh) will compete with CLARA (Imran Chisty) and RIVAL (Suraj Narredu). The field will also include BHAIRAVA, FLY TOTHE STARS and ROLLS ROYCE. The race will offer a total prize of ₹7,40,000.
The fifth race at 5:05 PM will be The Hyderabad Plate, a maiden race for three-year-olds over 1100 metres. DIVINE TIGER (P. Ajeeth Kumar) will start alongside FUGO (P. Trevor) and KNOTTY CIRCUIT (P. Sai Kumar). NOBLE FELLA, SPORTING TOUCH and VARTTAMAAN will also take part in the race which carries a prize fund of ₹12,25,000.
The sixth race at 5:35 PM will be The Onnu Onnu Onnu Plate (Division II), a Class II handicap over 1400 metres for horses rated between 60 and 85. CHERIE CHEVALIER (Antony Raj S) will run alongside HURRICANE BAY (Afroz Khan) and ENCORE (Md Ekram Alam). CALISTOGA, NORTHERN WAVES and ARABESKA will complete the line-up competing for ₹8,40,000.
The concluding race at 6:05 PM will be The Narayanpet Plate (Division II), a Class IV handicap over 1100 metres for horses rated between 20 and 45. AUTHORITARIAN (Ajay Kumar) will take on CATCHME IF YOU CAN (Dhanu S. Deora) and AMERICAN FLAME (H. M. Akshay). The remaining runners in the field will be LIGHTS ON, TRUST ME and VICTORY RUN. The race will carry a total prize fund of ₹6,50,000.
In summary, the afternoon meeting will present a balanced programme of sprint and middle-distance contests as the winter racing season continues at the Hyderabad Race Club. The Hyderabad Race Cards 17 March will therefore offer a varied line-up of handicap and maiden races across seven events scheduled through the evening.
