Excitement is building ahead of the Hyderabad Monsoon Races September 8, where the 14th day of the season will feature nine contests at the Hyderabad Race Club (HRC). Racing begins at 12:25 p.m. and continues until 4:50 p.m., with a card that balances promising youngsters, proven handicappers, and high-class feature events.
The Medak Plate – 12:25 p.m. (1200m, for three-year-olds)
The afternoon opens with The Medak Plate, a sprint for three-year-olds. Arizona Sun, to be ridden by jockey P. Ajeeth Kumar for trainer R.H. Sequeira, heads a field that also includes Beast Master (jockey P. Sai Kumar, trainer K.S.V. Prasad Raju), Fox Worth (jockey Antony Raj S, trainer D. Netto), Golden Aura (jockey H.M. The Hussain Sagar Cup (Div I) – 1:25 p.m. (1400m)
Youngsters with stamina potential line up in Division I of The Hussain Sagar Cup. Great Giver (jockey Kuldeep Singh, trainer L.V.R. Deshmukh) and Nkalanzinzi (jockey Akshay Kumar, trainer Sandeep G) will attract attention, while Star Medal (jockey Abhay Singh, trainer K. Satheesh), Bold Beauty (jockey P.
