Hurdling action resumed at 1:50 PM in the RACING BLOGGER HANDICAP HURDLE RACE (CLASS 5) over 2m 3f 191y, where ALBIE LITTLEWOOD, owned by Mr Nick Skelton and trained by Dan Skelton, responded well under Harry Skelton when asked for an effort, crossing the line confidently to claim the £7,000 prize.

In the HANDICAP HURDLE RACE (CLASS 4) over 1m 7f 216y at 2:20 PM, BENVOY, carrying the colours of These Girls Can Syndicate and partnered by Gavin Sheehan, travelled strongly throughout and settled the contest before the final obstacle, securing the £9,000 purse for trainer Jo Davis.

Novice chasers returned to the track for the NOVICES’ HANDICAP STEEPLE CHASE (CLASS 5) over 2m 104y at 2:50 PM. TOUQUET, guided by James Davies and trained by Nick Gifford, proved effective at the sharper distance, delivering a clear success for owner Mr Graeme Brooks.

The afternoon concluded at 3:20 PM with the OPEN MAIDEN NATIONAL HUNT FLAT RACE (CLASS 5). MILPAT, ridden by Gavin Sheehan and trained by Jamie Snowden, finished the card on a positive note, demonstrating a professional attitude throughout the 1m 7f 216y contest for the McNeill Family and the Stone Family, who collected the £4,000 prize.
