One Nation dominates at Mysore to win The Doddaballapura Plate

In a class 4 race, One Nation emerged as the clear winner of The Doddaballapura Plate, a 1600-meter handicap for horses rated 20 to 45, held as the fifth race on Day 9 of the Mysore Summer Races 2025. With ₹4,50,000 on the line, the field delivered a spirited contest at Mysore Race Club on Wednesday afternoon.

Trained by Pratap Kamath M and expertly ridden by Abhishek Mhatre, One Nation clocked 1:38.699 to claim top honors. Owned by Col. Kuldeep Singh Garcha, the horse showed poise under pressure, taking command in the final meters to seal a decisive victory.

Star Honour, trained by Satish Narredu and ridden by M. Prabhakaran, gave chase gamely but had to settle for second, finishing in 1:38.850.

Completing the top three was Sandal King, trained by Mansoor Khan and partnered by L. Alex Rozario, who crossed the line in 1:39.223 after a determined effort through the final stretch.
