Bangalore Turf Club Postpones Second Day of Summer Meeting 2025 to May 20 Due to Heavy Rain
The Bangalore Turf Club Ltd. (BTC) has announced the postponement of the second day of the Bangalore Summer Meeting 2025, originally scheduled for Sunday, May 18, to Tuesday, May 20, 2025, due to heavy rainfall.
In an official notice issued on May 18, the Stewards of the Bangalore Turf Club confirmed that inclement weather and unplayable track conditions led to the rescheduling of the races. This proactive decision was taken to ensure the safety of the horses, jockeys, and all race participants, as well as to maintain the integrity of the racing surface.
Despite the change in date, the Race Card for May 18 will remain valid and unchanged for the rescheduled races on May 20.
