Trevor and trainer Deepesh Narredu, clocking at 2:05.906, surged past a competitive field to claim the biggest prize of Rs.55,76,250 for owners Dr Ram H Shroff & Mr Raj H Shroff rep Stride Livestock Pvt Ltd, Mr Chetan Shah, Mr Subodh Maskara & Mr Pankaj Kumar Maskara rep Citoc Ventures Pvt Ltd & Mr Rajeev Vasudeo Goenka. The 04:00 PM contest concluded with Heart asserting dominance in decisive style, etching her name into Monsoon Derby lore.
From the gates, Heart bided her time patiently, settling mid-pack as the early fractions set a testing pace. With tactical precision, Trevor guided her through a clear path in the final meters, unleashing a devastating turn of foot that left the crowd gasping. The race’s defining moment came in the home stretch, as Heart powered past her rivals with an authority that marked her as the standout three-year-old of the season.
The runner-up honors went to Arabeska (3Y GR F), ridden by Akshay Kumar for trainer L V R Deshmukh, who valiantly chased the winner but fell short in the final strides at 2:06.393. Racing Ruler (3Y B C), under A.
