Two-Year-Old Debuts and Turf Showdowns Headline Gulfstream Park June 29 Races

Gulfstream Park is gearing up to host an exciting 10-race card on June 29, 2025, with the first post scheduled for 12:50 PM. The action begins with a Maiden Special Weight for two-year-olds sprinting over 5 furlongs on the dirt, offering a total prize pool of $70,000. The field features My Boy Stan, Universal Legend, Beybe Beto, Megacles, Fear, Wine Candy, and Rammaas.

The second race is another Maiden Special Weight, this time for two-year-olds competing over 7 1/2 furlongs on the fast-firm turf, with a $70,000 purse. The lineup includes Escape From Home, David Pepperman, Raasil, Hotter Than Dem, You Mule, Berkiea, Coach Kain, My Foolish Notion, El Ore Jon, Doha Desert, Magneto, Bogarts Bucchero, Ciborio, and Kung Foo.

The fifth race of the day is for fillies and mares aged three and older, which have never won more than one race. They will sprint 6 furlongs on dirt for a total prize of $24,500 at 2:52 PM. The field includes Areacodefiveoone, Fully Entitled, Starship Legend, Pizzicato, Sky Baby, and Gray Enough.

Next up at 3:30 PM is a turf contest over 7 1/2 furlongs on fast-firm going for state-bred three-year-olds and upward, eligible for non-winners of one other than maiden, claiming, or starter, or non-winners of two races, or for a $20,000 claiming price. Race seven features fillies and mares aged three and upward who are maidens, racing over 5 1/2 furlongs on the dirt for a $26,500 purse at 4:01 PM. The runners are Geegee’s Story, Sawakin, Burn It All, Bubbles Up, R Wins Aren’t Luck, Gunnemist, Cheeca Blue, Fluffy, Cicatriz, and Curling Rose.

The eighth race is for three-year-old fillies that have raced for a claiming price of $35,000 or less, or are entered for $50,000 claiming, going one mile on dirt for a $42,000 purse at 4:33 PM. The lineup includes We Sea You (IRE), Annie Goodbody, Le Touche, No Other Like You, Bellavinino, Smooth Claret, and Maddy R.

At 5:05 PM, the penultimate race is set for three-year-olds or four-year-olds and upward who have never won more than two races. They’ll tackle 1 1/16 miles on dirt for $24,500 in total prize money. The field consists of Blaze of Color, Emmett, Racket, Old Flag (IRE), Oconee Life, Air Invasion, Ready To Reign, Lookin For Roses, Battle Of Dover, and Downing Street.

The day’s final race, at 5:35 PM, is for three-year-olds or older horses who have never won more than two races or have not won since December 29, 2024. They will race one mile over fast-firm turf for a $40,000 purse. The contenders are Battle Call, Quereme Pass (ARG), Ticking, Speed Runner, Samburu (GB), Fregon, Positive Review, Peace Not War, Oishi, and Irideo (ARG).
