With multiple $1,872 payoffs, People who had followed the six-race sequence were rewarded handsomely after weeks of anticipation.

After going unsolved for six racing days since the last mandatory return on Sept. 14, the popular Rainbow 6 has become a highlight for racing fans, offering dramatic finishes and the tantalizing possibility of a jackpot. Sunday’s pool saw $483,733 wagered, augmented by a $13,880.95 carryover from Saturday’s program. The winning six-race combination was completed by Tinta Roja ($5.80), the 9-5 favorite, in Race 10.
