Woodbine will stage two $175,000 graded stakes contests on Saturday, November 7, 2026, with the Grade 3 Autumn Stakes and Grade 3 Maple Leaf Stakes set to headline the programme. William T will target another graded success in the Autumn Stakes, while Dixie Law will face a new challenge against older rivals in the Maple Leaf Stakes.

The nine-furlong Grade 3 Autumn Stakes will feature six horses aged three and above on the main track. William T will enter the contest following his victory in the Durham Cup (G3) on September 19, where he secured his first graded stakes triumph.

The four-year-old son of Frosted will look to extend his winning sequence under jockey Fraser Aebly for trainer Don MacRae. He will face Runaway Again, Wicked Django, War Court, Swift Delivery and English Actor.

William T will arrive in good form after recording three wins and five second-place finishes from 11 career starts. His recent preparation will include a four-furlong workout in 47.80 seconds over the Woodbine main track on October 31.

Grade 3 Autumn Stakes and Maple Leaf Stakes Fields

The 1¼-mile Grade 3 Maple Leaf Stakes will bring together seven fillies and mares aged three and above. Dixie Law will headline the field as she prepares for her first challenge against older rivals.

The three-year-old daughter of Tiz the Law will enter the contest after finishing second in the Ontario Damsel on October 10. Trained by Dale Desruisseaux, she will aim to add another graded stakes victory to her record, having already captured the Grade 3 Mazarine and several other stakes contests.

Dixie Law will be partnered by Pietro Moran and will compete against Fortyfiveseventy, Sultana, Scat Girl, Lupa (IRE), Venencia (FR) and Hurricane Clair.

The filly will arrive with five wins, two second-place finishes and one third from 11 career starts. Her latest preparation will include a five-furlong workout in 1:00.60 over the Woodbine main track on October 28.

Both contests will present significant tests for their leading contenders. William T will seek to maintain his recent graded stakes form, while Dixie Law will look to demonstrate her ability against more experienced opposition.

William T and Dixie Law will headline Woodbine’s Saturday stakes programme, with the former targeting another graded success and the latter preparing for her first challenge against older rivals.
