The 6th race of the 15th day at Mysore (Monsoon) Races 2025, The Bangalore Turf Club Trophy, a Class I contest for horses rated 80 and above over 1200M, delivered an electrifying performance on Sunday, 26 October at 3:30 PM. Gold Kite (J: Hindu Singh, T: K Aditya) thrilled racing fans and secured a spectacular win for owner Mr Kunal N Sharma, crossing the finish line in 1:10.259 with authority.
Racing prominently from the start, Gold Kite exhibited perfect timing and acceleration. Guided expertly by Hindu Singh, the mare maintained a steady rhythm through the bend before unleashing a decisive surge in the final 200M, leaving the field struggling to keep pace. Trainer K Aditya’s meticulous preparation ensured the runner stayed composed and dominant throughout.
The runner-up position went to Don Carlos (J: P. Trevor, T: S S Attaollahi), finishing strongly in 1:10.343, keeping close pressure on the winner for much of the home stretch. Decacorn (J: K. Sai Kiran, T: P Ruban) closed impressively to claim third in 1:10.395, rounding off a thrilling top three.
With the Bangalore Turf Club Trophy concluded, attention now turns to the Mysore Derby 2025 (Grade I) at 4:00 PM, promising even more high-octane action and top-class racing.
