Go For The Moon Shines Bright in The Alaskan Handicap at RCTC

The Alaskan Handicap, run over 1400 meters at 4:00 PM, brought another exciting chapter to the day’s racing at RCTC. With eight contenders in the fray and a winner’s purse of Rs. 2,75,000 from total stakes of Rs. 5,00,000, the race did not disappoint.

Go For The Moon, ridden by Vivek G and trained by Aashay Doctor, soared to victory with a sharp timing of 1:25.893 at 6/1 odds, marking a strong finish.

Coming in second was the longshot Raissa, piloted by A. Prakash and trained by Sabeel Shariff. The filly surprised with a solid run, finishing in 1:26.141 at 15/1 odds.

Aldila secured third place, with Imran Chisty aboard and Rutherford Alford handling the training duties. The duo continued their consistent form, clocking 1:26.681 at 5/1 odds to round off the top three.
