A competitive field lined up for The Bergamo Plate Division II at Bangalore Turf Club, and it was Glorious Spectre who delivered a standout performance to take home top honours in the 1100-meter handicap for horses rated 20 to 45, aged four years and older.

Trained by Neil B Devaney and confidently ridden by Dhanu Singh Deora, Glorious Spectre raced under the silks of Mr. Sujay Kumar Puttanna, Mr. Balam Mohla, and Mr. Dean Stephens, and justified the faith of connections with a powerful finish with a time of 1:07.05 to clinch the Rs. 2,54,995 prize.

The early stages of the race saw several runners in close contention, but Glorious Spectre displayed a brilliant turn of foot in the final meters to outpace his rivals and secure a well-earned win.

Felisa, guided by Pavan and trained by Irfan Ghatala, made a strong bid in the straight but ultimately had to settle for second as it timed at 1:07.06.

Noble Cause, under P. Trevor for trainer S. Dominic, stayed on well to grab third place at 1:07.80, rounding off the top trio in what was a tightly fought affair.

With The Bergamo Plate Division II now in the books, attention shifts to the upcoming event on the card – The Noble Prince Plate, an 1800-meter handicap for the same class of runners. Stay with us for live updates as the day continues at the Bangalore Turf Club.
