A thrilling day of racing action at the Bangalore Turf Club came to an exhilarating close with Glaze emerging victorious in The Aureole Time Plate, the final race on the seven-race card of the 6th day of the Bangalore Summer Meeting 2025.

Run over 1200 meters for horses rated 00 to 25, this race offered a prize purse of Rs. 4,50,000 and delivered a nail-biting finish that had the crowd at the edge of their seats. Glaze, piloted expertly by Rajesh Kumar M, showcased determination and grit in the final strides, edging ahead in a razor-thin photo finish. The win also marked a well-deserved triumph for trainer V. Narayana Gowda, whose charge timed the run to perfection.

Hot on Glaze’s heels was Darrion, ridden by Darshan N and trained by Pradeep Annaiah, who looked a winner for a brief moment before being caught right at the wire. It was a strong performance that adds promise to Darrion’s future outings.

Sunlit Path, guided by Mohammed Aliyar and trained by K. Purshotham, completed the top-three with a game effort that added to the depth of this competitive field.

The curtain fell on a day that saw history made, new distances introduced, and rising stars emerge across all age categories. With all seven races producing engaging results, BTC’s June 1st card will be remembered as one of the most vibrant days of the season.

As the sun set on the turf and fans soaked in the final cheers, attention now shifts to the next race day on Saturday, June 7, when the action resumes at Bangalore. But the stories of today’s champions will echo through the week.
