Situated in Western Australia, the GERALDTON TURF CLUB delivered another polished mid-morning race day on Thursday, 23rd October, running eight races from 10:17am to 2:31pm. This outing is confirmed on the club’s 2025-26 calendar, signalling that the season is rolling full-tilt. With CLINT JOHNSTON-PORTER given the hand of timing, trainer MICHAEL GRANTHAM’s setup showed up well, breeder as well as owner PETERS INVESTMENTS PTY LTD’s lines came through and enjoyed the moment. CANTILEVER ran on impressively, while MR UNIVERSE kept on for third.

Race 4: 65THIRTY EVENTS AND ENTERTAINMENT HANDICAP (12:07pm, 1110 metres)

Mid-card, SAFE HUSTLE asserted themselves, finishing in 01:06.85 under a measured ride from ROSIE MAHONY. In race six, BELVEDERE ROCK powered home in 01:38.36, with AUSTIN GALATI navigating the closing stages expertly. Trainer BARRY NEWNHAM’s preparation came to life, breeder MR A OLIVE took solace in the result, and owner MR C CAPORN left satisfied. BATTLE ON BATTLER produced a strong challenge, while THE ROOSTER held on for third.

Race 7: COUNTRY COMFORT PERTH HANDICAP (1:55pm, 1410 metres)

The penultimate showdown saw SECRICITY drive to the front in 01:26.33, under a sharp ride from MADI DERRICK. With AUSTIN GALATI delivering under pressure, trainer ALLAN HUGHES and breeders AMELIA PARK RACING & BREEDING PTY LTD enjoyed the payoff, and owner MR F S KILNER ended the afternoon on a high. COLLECTIVE ran on valiantly, while DIVINE INANNA secured the final placing.
