Galway Girl, with jockey Vishal N Bunde aboard, wins The Noble Prince Plate at Bangalore Turf Club, ahead of Art of Romance and Monterio in a competitive 1800-meter handicap race.

The action continued to unfold in spectacular fashion at the Bangalore Turf Club as Galway Girl emerged triumphant in The Noble Prince Plate, the fourth race of the afternoon. The 1800-meter handicap for horses rated 20 to 45, offering a purse of Rs.5,10,000, saw a determined field line up, but it was Galway Girl who stole the spotlight.

Trained by Neil Darashah and ridden with confidence by Vishal N Bunde, the filly surged ahead in the final furlong to seal victory for a large ownership group Mr Enrico R. Piperno , Mr. S. K. Shingal , Ashok Kumar Agarwal & Mr. Lalit Baid & Mr. Bishwajit Sinha Roy & Mr. Vivek Choudhary & M/s Speedex Livestock Pvt Ltd rep. by & Mr. Sharath Jhunjhunwala & Mr. Shawney & Mr. Rajesh Kabra. the winner finished in 1:52.55.

The contest maintained a steady pace throughout, with Art of Romance, ridden by P. Trevor and trained by Warren Singh, clocked at 1:52.80. However, Galway Girl found another gear when it mattered most, crossing the line with a clear advantage.

Monterio, under the handling of Vivek G. and trained by Pradeep Annaiah, rounded off the top three with a respectable effort, keeping on gamely down the straight with a finish time of 1:53.33.

With four races completed, the focus now turns to the next feature on the card – The Civil Service Cup, a 2000-meter handicap for horses rated 60 to 85. As the day progresses, the excitement only builds at Bangalore Turf Club.
