The Welsh venue Ffos Las Racecourse will host a compelling six-race Flat programme on Tuesday, 30 June, with racing scheduled from 6:09pm until 8:39pm. The evening fixture will comprise a restricted novice contest, a maiden, a classified race and three handicaps, creating a balanced schedule for horses across different grades and distances. Prize money will range from £6,600 to £10,000, while race distances will extend from five furlongs to just over two miles, ensuring the card will cater for sprinters, middle-distance performers and stayers alike.

The opening contest on the card will see the Restricted Novice Stakes (Class 4) (GBB Race) commence proceedings at 6:09pm over 1m 2f 14y with £10,000 in prize money. An eight-runner field is expected to feature Just Johnny, Dialstone, Liberate, Mother Dear, Adalo, Egyptian Pharaoh, Tinkety Tonk and Celestial Cen. The opening race will provide an early opportunity for several progressive horses to continue their development over a middle-distance trip.

The second race of the evening will bring the Pembrokeshire Maiden Stakes (Class 4) (GBB Race) at 6:39pm over 1m 14y, also carrying £10,000 in prize money. The anticipated field will include Dark Whisper, Impierious, Ingemar, Lean d’Aislingean, Next Guilian, Vincenzo Bellini, Elenaya and Kino Plasmat. With several lightly raced contenders among the entries, the contest will add further intrigue to the early stages of the meeting.

Midway through the programme, attention will switch to the Mayfair Classified Stakes (Class 6) at 7:09pm over 7f 94y for a purse of £6,600. The nine expected runners are Angel’s Call, A Rose Adaay, Belltony, Blue Point Express, King of The Dance, Prince Ali, Spirited Dancer, Mokata and Snow Day. The contest will assemble experienced campaigners in what promises to be another competitive race on the card.

The fourth race on the schedule will feature the Dream Homes Handicap Stakes (Class 6) at 7:39pm over 7f 94y, again offering £6,600 in prize money. The expected runners are Dappled Light, Sofian, Cypriot Diaspora, Tonal, Arnaz, Kaleidoscope Eyes, Medyg, Quilt and Red Moon. The handicap will continue the evening’s varied programme and will present another evenly matched contest.

The penultimate contest of the meeting will be the Carmarthenshire Handicap Stakes (Class 6) at 8:09pm over the sharp 5f distance for £6,600. Seven runners are expected to line up, namely Runamara, Forever Glamorous, Kodi K, Magnificent Mel, My Mate Mackley, Follow My Heart and Tanaka. As the only sprint on the card, the race will provide a contrasting test before the finale.

Bringing the evening’s racing to a close, the Ceredigion Handicap Stakes (Class 6) will be run at 8:39pm over 2m 14y, with £6,600 on offer. The staying handicap will feature Bulldog Spirit, Merrijig, Oakley, Golden Flame, Simiyann, Chillhi, Cogital, Sapphire Sirocco, Adrian and Oceanides. The concluding contest will provide the sternest stamina examination of the evening before drawing the six-race programme to its conclusion.
