The programme will include maiden, handicap and confined handicap races for three-year-olds and older horses.

Opening proceedings at 3:37pm will be THE MAIDEN FILLIES’ STAKES (CLASS 4) (GBB RACE), with five runners set to compete over six furlongs for three-year-olds and older fillies. The contest will carry £10,000 in prize money and will feature Dixie Blue, Eskimo Pie, Livvys Edge, Mollstar and Mystic Veil. The six-furlong trip will provide the first speed test of the afternoon.

Next on the card at 4:07pm will be THE HAPPY 80TH HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 6), which will bring together nine runners over five furlongs for three-year-olds and older horses. The race will offer £6,600 in prize money, with The Coffee Pod, Miracleoftheandes, Portacloy, Dark Sun, Sheik Yerbouti, Little Jaybee and Happier among the declared runners. The short distance will provide a sharp sprinting challenge for the field.

Midway through the programme, THE EBF MAIDEN STAKES (CLASS 3) (GBB RACE) will take place at 4:37pm over seven furlongs and 114 yards. Seven two-year-olds horses will contest the £13,000 race, with Drum Bay, Engraved, Grand Havana, Narrjoo, Q T Boy, World Star and Isabella de Vega set to line up. The extended seven-furlong distance will provide a more demanding test than the opening sprint contests.

Following that, THE HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 6) will get underway at 5:10pm, with 10 runners scheduled to contest one mile and 34 yards for three-year-olds and older horses. The race will carry £6,600 in prize money and will feature Nammos, Angel’s Call, Kev, Rival, Oviedo, King of The Dance and Uncle Albert among the declared field. The larger field will provide a competitive mile test, with the runners required to maintain their pace through the closing stages.

Further action will come at 5:40pm in THE “CONFINED” HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 5), which will see six runners compete over one mile and 34 yards. The contest will be open to three-year-olds and older horses and will carry £8,000 in prize money. Port Louis, Next Guilian, The Stone Power, Royal Bodyguard, John Harrison and Brave New World will form the field. The six-runner contest will provide another test over the mile distance.

Bringing the meeting to a close at 6:10pm will be THE HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 6), with six runners scheduled to compete over one mile, four furlongs and 23 yards. The race will be open to three-year-olds and older horses and will carry £6,600 in prize money. Meet Me In Meraki, Bulldog Spirit, Noble Grace, Belle of Kt, A Daughters Love and Claytons Kolatonic will make up the field. The extended distance will provide the day’s longest examination of stamina before the six-race programme concludes.

The Ffos Las Race Cards 12 August will feature six races from 3:37pm to 6:10pm, with distances ranging from five furlongs to one mile, four furlongs and 23 yards and prize money reaching £13,000.
