Breaking smartly and settling well into stride, Encino positioned himself comfortably just off the pace in the early stages. Treat, ridden by A. Prakash and trained by Imtiaz A. Sait, fought valiantly in the straight to secure second place after tracking the leader throughout in 1:25:219. Amazing Ruler, under Amyn Merchant for trainer Faisal A. Abbas, ran on resolutely to grab third, rounding off an engaging finish to the mid-card event (1:25:300).
