The second race of the afternoon at Mysore Racecourse, The Sri Kanteerava Narasimharaja Sports Club Trophy DIV II, a Class IV contest for horses rated 20 to 45, was run over 1400 metres at 3:00 PM. Eclipse Pulse (J: Asirvatham), trained by Azhar Ali and racing in the colours of M/s Aziz A. Jaffer, Roopesh S. & Waseem Dadapeer, delivered a polished performance to stop the clock at 1:23.850 and secure a convincing win.
From the jump, the pace was steady with Eclipse Pulse well-positioned in the early stages, conserving energy before launching a decisive move turning for home. With Asirvatham timing his challenge to perfection, the gelding surged clear in the final furlong, leaving the field chasing shadows and underlining his improving form at this level.
Totally Epic (J: Aleemuddin, T: Rajesh Narredu) fought bravely in the straight and secured second place with a time of 1:24.771, while Sandal King (J: K. Mukesh Kumar, T: Feroz M. Khan) stayed on for third in 1:25.568, completing the frame in a competitive finish.
