Distances will range from six furlongs to nearly two miles, ensuring opportunities for developing youngsters, progressive handicappers and seasoned campaigners throughout the afternoon.

Getting the meeting underway, the British Stallion Studs EBF Maiden Fillies’ Stakes (Class 3) will be run at 10:15am over 1m 3f 218y for £12,000 in prize money. Five runners are expected to face the starter, with Orestina, Alpinara, Brunhilde, Green Area and Wootton’s Gal set to contest the opening event. The race will provide an informative early examination for lightly raced fillies embarking upon middle-distance assignments.

Next on the agenda, the Talasey Restricted Novice Stakes (Class 5) will take place at 10:45am over 6f 2y with a purse of £8,000. Eight runners are due to line up, including Cullinan Wolf, Regional Rock, Sand Sea, Auradue and Golden Harvest. The contest will bring together several developing sprint prospects seeking to enhance their credentials.

Sprinting action will come to the fore in the MW Window Systems Handicap Stakes (Class 4), scheduled for 11:15am. Run over 6f 2y for prize money of £10,800, the race has attracted nine runners, among them Photosynthesis, Winged Messenger, Zubaru, Sixtygeesbaby and Papa Cocktail. The competitive nature of the field will ensure a searching test for established handicappers and upwardly mobile performers alike.

The competitive handicap sequence will continue at 11:45am with the Edward Foster & Son Plumbers Merchant Bradford Handicap Stakes (Class 5). Seven runners will compete for £8,400 over 7f 6y, with Bella Bisbee, Beale Street, Al Muqdad, Magic Music and Shazani featuring prominently among the expected participants. The intermediate trip will place emphasis on both tactical positioning and finishing determination.

Middle-distance performers will then take centre stage in the Story Cup Handicap Stakes (Class 5) at 12:15pm. Carrying prize money of £8,400 and contested over 1m 2f 64y, the race will feature eight runners including Superfortress, Rizal, Finlaggan, Lordsbridge Grey and Phaedra. The contest will offer a valuable opportunity for horses seeking to consolidate their positions within the handicap ranks.

Attention will subsequently switch back to the sprint division when the Supporting Racing Staff Week Handicap Stakes (Class 6) is run at 12:45pm. Nine runners will compete for £7,200 over 6f 2y, with Black Endeavour, Come On Over, Overbudget, Lamlash Bay and Sprinting Speed among those expected to take part. A closely matched field will add further depth to an already varied programme.

The staying division will be represented by the Download The Raceday Ready App Handicap Stakes (Class 5) at 1:15pm. Although only three runners are entered, the race will offer £8,400 in prize money and will be run over a demanding 1m 6f 136y. Wardlaw, Reem Rak and La Tosca will contest the longest race of the afternoon, where stamina will inevitably prove decisive.

Bringing the curtain down on proceedings, the Spillers Racehorse Cubes Handicap Stakes will be staged at 1:45pm over 1m 2f for a prize fund of £6,000. RB Yas Sir, Upstart Crow, Al Sharid and Izenterisky are among the anticipated runners in the finale, which will conclude a programme notable for its diversity of distances and competitive opportunities.

Across the afternoon, Doncaster will present a compelling blend of youthful promise, established handicap form and stamina-oriented examinations.
