Doncaster Belle delivered a well-judged performance to capture the Dupont Plate, the penultimate race on Day 11 of the Bangalore Summer Meeting held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at the Bangalore Turf Club (BTC). The 1400-meter handicap race, open to horses rated 20 to 45, carried a purse of ₹5,10,000 and featured a field of competitive mid-class runners.
Trained by Darius R. Byramji and piloted by S. Saqlain, Doncaster Belle made her move at the right time, surging past the leaders to secure a confident win by clocking at 1:25.93. The ownership group includes Mr. S. R. Sanas, Manjri Horse Breed Farm Pvt. Ltd, Mr. Aditya P. Thackersey, Mr. Ashok Ranpise, and DT Racing & Breeding LLP.
Final Call, trained by S. Padmanabhan and ridden by Neeraj Rawal, ran a resolute race to finish second, making a sustained effort in the final stages by timing at 1:26.76.
Night Raider, from the yard of Irfan Ghatala and ridden by Pavan, completed the top three after a solid performance with a finish time of 1:27.41.
