The penultimate event on the Pune Meeting Special Race Day at Pune Racecourse, run by the Royal Western India Turf Club (RWITC), had the Atomic Prince Plate, a 1200-meter handicap exclusively for Indian horses aged five years and over. With ₹5,50,000 offered to the winners, the race proved to be another thrilling race of the day.
Divine Intuition, partnered by Akshay Gaikwad, produced a resolute performance to clinch the title for trainer Aman Altaf Hussain, stopping the clock at 1:10:720.
The winning horse is owned by a large and prominent group, Mr Ashok Ranpise, Mr Pranav Ranpise, Mr Akshay Dattatray Ranpise, Mr Vishwajeet Sood, Mr Waahiid Ali Khan (rep. Sshaawn Horses and Sports Pvt Ltd), Mrs Ayesha A. Hussain, Mr Aziz A. Virani, and Mr Aman Altaf Hussain.
The second spot went to Liam, ridden by Antony Raj S. and trained by Nazzak B Chenoy who registered a finishing time of 1:11:113.
Rounding off the top three was Treasure Gold, guided by K. Pranil for trainer Bezan Chenoy, with a timing of 1:11:182.
