The action continued at the Royal Western India Turf Club with the Bombay Club Multi-Million, a 1600-meter event boasting total stakes of ₹30,00,000, including a rich ₹18,00,000 for the winner. The race lived up to its billing with a dramatic photo-finish and strong performances from the leading contenders.

Living up to expectations was Dedication, the tote-favourite, who edged out rivals to secure victory by the slimmest of margins. Trained by Shazaan Shah and ridden by A. Sandesh, the colt stopped the clock at 1:36.424, justifying his short odds of 0.95.

Finishing a whisker behind was Superstar, guided by Vivek G. and trained by P. Shroff, who pushed the winner all the way to the wire. The runner-up posted a time of 1:36.426 at odds of 9/1, making it one of the closest finishes of the season.

Rounding out the top three was Juracan, trained by P. S. Chouhan and partnered by Shrikant Kamble, who put in a solid effort to clock 1:36.782 at 15/1 odds.

With two cracking races done and dusted, all eyes now turn to the day’s next feature—the Maharaja Sir Harisinghji Trophy, another 1600-meter contest. Stay tuned as the final day of the Mumbai season continues to unfold at Mahalaxmi.
