Deauville will host an eight-race flat racing programme on Saturday, November 7, 2026, with the opening contest scheduled for 1:58 PM. The meeting features a varied selection of races for three-year-olds and older horses, covering distances of 1,500 metres to 2,500 metres. Several handicap contests and Class 2, Class 3 and Class 4 events will provide a competitive afternoon of racing at the French venue.

The Prix de l’Operation Epsom, scheduled for 3:15 PM, is the highlight of the programme in terms of prize money, offering €50,900. The Class 2 handicap is open to horses aged four and above and will be run over 1,900 metres. With 16 declared participants, it is expected to be one of the most closely contested events of the afternoon.

The meeting begins at 1:58 PM with the Prix de Bricquebec-en-Cotentin, a 2,500-metre handicap for three-year-olds. Offering €20,200 in prize money, the opening race has nine participants. The staying distance will test the young runners’ stamina and ability to maintain a consistent pace throughout the contest.

At 2:33 PM, the Prix du Pont d’Ouilly will continue the programme over the same 2,500-metre distance. This handicap is also reserved for three-year-olds, with 10 participants competing for €24,000. The second race offers another opportunity for developing stayers to demonstrate their potential over a longer trip.

The third race, the Prix de l’Operation Epsom, will take place at 3:15 PM. This Class 2 handicap is open to horses aged four and above and covers 1,900 metres. With €50,900 available in prize money and a field of 16 runners, the contest carries the highest prize allocation of the meeting and is expected to attract considerable attention.

The fourth event, the Prix Porlezza, is scheduled for 3:50 PM. Unlike the preceding handicaps, this Class 2 contest is set over a shorter distance of 1,500 metres. Open to horses aged four and above, the race features seven participants and offers €24,700 in prize money. The shorter trip is likely to place emphasis on early speed, positioning and finishing ability.

At 4:25 PM, the Prix de l’Operation Martlet will bring the runners back to the 1,900-metre distance. This Class 4 handicap is open to horses aged four and above, with 16 participants listed for the contest. The race carries €17,300 in prize money and is expected to provide a competitive middle-distance challenge.

The sixth race, the Prix de l’Operation Spring, is set for 5:00 PM. This Class 3 handicap will cover 1,900 metres and features another field of 16 horses aged four and above. With €19,200 in prize money, the event will test the runners’ consistency and ability to maintain their pace over the distance.

At 5:35 PM, the Prix de l’Operation Windsor will continue the Class 3 handicap programme. Also contested over 1,900 metres, the race is open to horses aged four and above and has attracted 16 participants. The total prize money stands at €21,100, providing another competitive opportunity for the experienced runners.

The final event of the day, the Prix de l’Operation Goodwood, is scheduled for 6:10 PM. The 1,900-metre Class 3 handicap will feature 16 horses aged four and above competing for €25,900 in prize money. As the closing contest, it will bring the eight-race programme to an end with another sizeable field and a demanding middle-distance challenge.

With eight races across a range of distances, Deauville’s November 7 meeting offers opportunities for both younger horses and experienced runners. The programme combines two staying handicaps for three-year-olds with several middle-distance contests for older horses. The Prix de l’Operation Epsom stands out as the day’s richest race, while the Prix de l’Operation Goodwood provides a strong conclusion to the afternoon.
