Dali’s Gold Takes The Manasasarovara Plate in Tight Finish
After an electric opener to Mysore Summer Races 2025 Day 11, the second contest on the card, The Manasasarovara Plate, saw a gritty and close-fought affair over 1200 meters for horses rated 00 to 25.
It was Dali’s Gold, guided expertly by jockey Siddaraju P for trainer Somashekar K, who showed late acceleration to secure victory in a time of 1:13.529. The win brought joy to owner Mr. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy Komma, as the gelding found an extra gear in the final strides to snatch the lead.
Pushing the winner all the way was Nimble Spirit, ridden by the experienced S. G. Prasad and trained by Mansoor Khan, who fell just short in 1:13.718. The margin was narrow, but Dali’s Gold’s decisive burst proved enough on the line.
Rounding out the top three was My Life My Rules, who ran a respectable race under R. Robert for trainer Aditya K, stopping the clock at 1:14.287.
With this result, attention now turns to the next scheduled event, The Varanasi Plate, as the final day of the Mysore Summer Races 2025 continues to build momentum.
