British raiders like Tuco Salamanca and Francisco’s Piece add depth, while Go Athletico is a course winner with claims. Expect a blanket finish with over 25 runners charging home.

The autumn staying crown, and one of Ireland’s most historic races. Al Riffa bids to translate middle-distance brilliance into Classic-winning stamina. Ballydoyle fields Illinois and Queenstown, while Crystal Black is a sentimental local fancy. Britain sends Al Qareem  and Amiloc, with Germany represented by Waldadler. Expect a tactical battle in this €500,000 showpiece.

Race 7: At 17:00

The Stakes (Group 2, €200,000, 1m2f)

Fillies and mares take the stage. One Look and Snellen head the ratings at 108. Aidan O’Brien relies on Ballet Slippers and Merrily, while Red Letter  is well regarded. Outsiders like Naomi Lapaglia and Higher Leaves could also feature.

Race 8: At 17:35
