Credence Secures The Iron Age Trophy with Electrifying Pace

The Iron Age Trophy, a class I handicap for horses rated 80 and above, brought a touch of prestige and raw speed to the Special Race Day of Pune Meeting 2025. Under sunny breaks filtering through the earlier clouds, the starting gates swung open, and the top-flight contenders surged forward.

Credence, handled with confidence by Aditya Waydande for trainer Shazaan Shah, proved too strong for the opposition. Stopping the clock at 1:07:951, the victory was both commanding and stylish, underlining the horse’s calibre in elite company.

Racing in the silks of Mr. Jaydev M. Mody representing J. M. Livestock Pvt Ltd, Credence’s performance left the crowd buzzing and connections delighted.

Divine Star, guided by P. Trevor for Aman Altaf Hussain, pressed hard to finish second in 1:08:143, while Son of a Gun, under A. Prakash for Narendra Lagad, rounded off the top three at 1:08:316.
