Confident game closed the curtains on the Mysore Summer Races 2025 with a commanding win in the Kanchanganga Plate Div 1, a 1400-meter Class III handicap for horses rated 40 to 65. Run as the final event of the season, the race served as the perfect stage for a composed front-running performance.
Y.S. Srinath, known for his impeccable timing, guided the Helleal Moses R-trained runner with finesse. The duo clocked 1:25.393, fending off all late challenges to claim the top prize. The gelding, owned by Mr. Sunil Santhosh Serrao, had been well-primed for this run and didn’t disappoint as he surged clear in the final strides.
Following him home was Red Falcon, ridden by Arvind Kumar N and trained by Suraj Prasad Shaw, who fought gamely but settled for second with a timing of 1:25.761. Natural Tornado, paired with Ankit Pal for trainer Mansoor Khan, finished third in 1:25.869, completing a tight finish among the top three.
