Compiegne’s Eight-Race Flat Meeting Takes Centre Stage on Friday

France’s Compiegne Racecourse will stage an eight-race Flat programme on Friday, 10 July, with the first race scheduled for 10:00 and the final contest due off at 13:43. The meeting will feature races over distances ranging from 1,400m to 2,800m, offering a balanced afternoon of sprint, middle-distance and staying contests. A competitive line-up has been assembled across the card, with prize money ranging from €16,500 to €27,400, ensuring a varied programme for participants and racing enthusiasts alike.

The meeting will begin with the PRIX DE BONNEUIL-EN-VALOIS at 10:00 over 2,400m for €18,200 in prize money. Arnay Le Duc, Golden Blush, Monsieur Shelby, Willy Winner, Oleron and Orlhena will take their places in the opening contest. The staying trip should provide an early examination of stamina and set the tone for the remainder of the afternoon.

The action will continue with the PRIX DE L’AVESNOIS at 10:30, a 1,400m contest carrying €27,400 in prize money. Zakkan, Boulder, Le Texan, Prince Azur, Zuchetto and Big Money Man will line up in one of the most valuable races on the programme. The competitive field should make for an engaging sprint around the Compiegne circuit.

Attention will then turn to the PRIX DU MONT SAINT-PIERRE, scheduled for 11:30 over 1,400m for a purse of €25,600. Ikotofetsy, Taxi Rose, Soul Ambassador, Vanvitelli, Mia Lot and Weeken will be expected to provide another closely contested race as the meeting reaches its halfway stage.

The fifth event, the PRIX DE CLAIROIX (CHMPT PARIS TURF DES APPRENTIS & JEUNES JOCKEYS), will start at 12:02 over 1,800m with prize money of €16,500. South Tyrol, Big Sip, We Ride The World, Stangheli, Prince Des Villes and Le Roi David will feature in the line-up. The intermediate distance will introduce a different tactical challenge compared with the earlier sprint contests.

The longest race of the afternoon will arrive in the PRIX D’AUTRECHES at 12:34. Run over 2,800m for €22,100, the contest will include Never Risk, Super Alex, Incremental, King Kara, Sheema’s Rose and Spring Eve. The extended trip will place the emphasis on stamina and race management as the runners tackle the demanding distance.

The penultimate contest, the PRIX DE LA FORET DE LAIGUE, will be run at 13:08 over 2,400m with prize money of €20,200. Mayamar, Baturhan, Boussant, Eternal Blessing, Ultraspi and Roman Skies will be among the expected runners. The staying event should provide another competitive contest before the day’s finale.

The programme will conclude with the PRIX DES FUTAIES at 13:43 over 2,400m for €22,100. Bella D’Anjou, Mr Tee, Rinascero, Highfield World, Sarastro, Louis Deux and Kensilver will bring the meeting to a close. The final race will complete a programme that offers a broad variety of distances and conditions throughout the afternoon.

Compiegne’s Friday fixture will provide an attractive blend of sprint and staying races, ensuring every stage of the card presents a fresh challenge. With well-matched fields declared across all eight contests and competitive prize money on offer, the meeting is set to deliver another enjoyable day of French Flat racing.
