The action-packed 13th day of the Mysore (Monsoon) Races 2025 on Friday, 17th October, featured the 2nd race, The BVL – Ladies Circle India Cup, a Class V contest for horses rated 00 to 25 over 1200 metres at 02:30 PM. In a commanding display, City of Hustle (J: Hindu Singh, T: K Aditya), owned by Mr Jose Joseph, surged ahead to stop the clock at 1:13.885, marking a performance full of composure and tactical brilliance.
Breaking cleanly from the gate, City of Hustle settled just off the early leaders before unleashing a decisive burst in the final 400 metres. Maintaining a perfect balance of speed and stamina, Hindu Singh guided the winner to edge past rivals with authority, leaving no doubts about the superiority of the run.
Pearl of Mysore (J: K. Sai Kiran, T: C D Monnappa) fought valiantly to hold second, finishing in 1:14.191, while Alluring Beauty (J: Antony Raj S., T: Rakesh) closed strongly to secure third in 1:14.289. The top three were separated by fine margins, highlighting a fiercely competitive finish.
As the applause subsided, focus quickly shifted to the next contest, The Alekona Trophy, scheduled for 03:00 PM, promising more thrilling action and tactical racing at Mysore.
