The much-anticipated War Hammer Million, rescheduled from day two of the Bangalore Summer Meeting 2025, delivered a pulsating contest that culminated in a resounding victory for CIRCLE OF DREAMS. The talented runner lived up to its billing, powering home under top jockey Akshay Kumar to secure the coveted trophy in a sharp time of 1:26.32.
Trained by the seasoned S.S. Attaollahi, Circle of Dreams was settled mid-pack early on before making a decisive move turning for home. With Akshay Kumar showcasing his hallmark composure and timing, the filly surged past the leaders in the final 200 meters, asserting her superiority over a quality field. The win adds another major feather to both rider and trainer’s caps as the summer season heats up at the Bangalore Turf Club (BTC).
Finishing a valiant second was RED BISHOP, guided by the capable S. Saqlain and trained by P. Shroff. The colt looked a serious threat as he chased down the leader but couldn’t close the final gap, clocking 1:26.69 after a spirited effort in the straight.
Rounding out the top three was the fast-finishing STORMY SEA, trained by M. K. Jadhav and partnered by the experienced N. S. Parmar. Their charge stopped the clock at 1:26.79, narrowly holding third in a closely fought finish for minor placings.
